I was detained by customs around 3pm at JFK returning from a flight on Ukraine airlines. Customs told me that my bags would be put on my connecting Delta flight then sent to Iowa where I live. I have called customs, Delta, and Ukraine airlines. None of these institutions have my baggage. Ukraine airlines told me that lost and found woukd have it.
I am missing the following:
One grey ofsprey travel backpack with a smaller backpack attached to the front. It should have a ukraine airlines bag tag number 0566PS621197.
One white and blue striped duffle bag with handles. Has a Kate spade bag tag with my name and address Mayce Hoover 117 crystal st. Unit 106, Ames, IA 50010.
Please let me know if this luggage is in the lost and found, and how I can get these items to the Des Moines international airport.
I was also told by delta that there is a reference # open for one of my bags ....it is the following JFKPS11969. I hope that helps.

We travelled from BIlbao to NY via Frankurt landing at JFK on Monday 5th November - Flight (LH 400)
Our tour manager forgot to collect one bag, as it was not checked in under the first class passenger and it was left on the carousel.
It's a red north face duffel bag with the name 'Rexha' on the opening flap in white script, there is also a leather luggage tag with the initials BR embossed on it.
The bag contains a number of gifted items.
The name on the luggage identification tag is Adam Scott Mersel, who was also in our travel party. |

ello,
My name is Nidhi Patel. I took flight from Ahmedabad, India to JFK International Airport, USA on 25 December 2018 via Abu Dhabi (Flifgt numbers are EY289 and EY101). My booking reference is YAGXKX. When I arrived on JFK airport I found out that my one checking baggage is missing. The baggage tag number is EY119869. When I informed about my missing baggage on the baggage service counter, I was asked to fill out one form and handed back one paper name delayed baggage file reference. But there was no file reference number was provided on it. I tried to contact JFK Baggage service counter several times on a number +1 718 751 3148 and sent out emails on [email protected]. But there is no response at all. When I called Ahmedabad airport to find out the file reference number as JFK airport is not responding, I was informed that there is no claim made till now which is 28 December for bagagge tag EY119869 and NO file reference number is generated.
Please advice what to do next to get my missing bagagge. Its been 3 days there is no update from JFK bagage counter. I have important stuff in my baggage.
