My mom was transported by wheelchair at JFK TSA security and a charcoal grey rolling suitcase hand carry was left at Security Checkpoint by her wheelchair porter around 4:45pm on Sunday 8/11. There is a name tag on the handle.
Name: G. Convento. (Norfolk, VA) THIS CARRY ON HAS A CPAP AND IMPORTANT MEDICATIONS. Please contact: 757-630-5025 or 757-630-3728 ASAP when found or email: [email protected].
Bag should’ve been on plane for the JFK to ORF flight 4359. Passenger was transported to Gate 42 by wheelchair porter. Passenger did not realize her carryon suitcase was without her until on board plane and it was too late to walk back to security checkpoint to obtain. Dear JFK Airport Lost & Found,
I hope this finds you well.
On the 2nd of August 2024 (two days ago), I caught an 18:20 Norse Air Flight from JFK Terminal 7 to London Gatwick. When going through the far right security bag check, a member of the JFK security staff asked to do a further check on a Kodak disposable camera (due to the film inside). There was a sense of urgency for everyone going through security, so I quickly picked up my rucksack and belongings once they had gone through the scanner and forgot to ask about the camera! Once I had boarded the flight, I realized I had left the camera behind, and the flight staff said they were unable to reach back out to the security checks team without involving a manager.
I am really distressed to have left this camera behind. It contains irreplaceable family photos from two holidays. I don’t live in the US and was there for a family reunion with my US family, which was the first in 7 years. I would be immensely grateful to be reunited with this camera and am more than happy to pay for the item to be posted back to the UK, and manage any related administration in organizing its return.
I have attached an example photo from the internet of what this type of camera would look like.
I hope to hear from you very soon.
Kind regards,
Georgia Howard-Merrill |
