ello,
My name is Nidhi Patel. I took flight from Ahmedabad, India to JFK International Airport, USA on 25 December 2018 via Abu Dhabi (Flifgt numbers are EY289 and EY101). My booking reference is YAGXKX. When I arrived on JFK airport I found out that my one checking baggage is missing. The baggage tag number is EY119869. When I informed about my missing baggage on the baggage service counter, I was asked to fill out one form and handed back one paper name delayed baggage file reference. But there was no file reference number was provided on it. I tried to contact JFK Baggage service counter several times on a number +1 718 751 3148 and sent out emails on [email protected]. But there is no response at all. When I called Ahmedabad airport to find out the file reference number as JFK airport is not responding, I was informed that there is no claim made till now which is 28 December for bagagge tag EY119869 and NO file reference number is generated.
Please advice what to do next to get my missing bagagge. Its been 3 days there is no update from JFK bagage counter. I have important stuff in my baggage.
