1108857 06/03/19 Electronics Fri, May 17 - jetBlue Flt 324 LAX to JFK 10:02am to 6:49pm o All items in backpack cleared through security scan o Arrived at JFK, Terminal 5 o Proceeded to Terminal 1 for flight on Lufthansa Flt 405 from JFK to Frankfurt, Germany at 09:55pm and from FRA on Flt 1436 at 01:00 pm to St.Petersburg, Russia. At JFK Terminal 1 Security, I forgot about mini water bottles receive on jetBlue flight that were now in backpack o Security pulled backpack for visual inspection and discovered water bottles and tossed them. o Security visually inspected backpack and began to pull items bagged on quart zip-lock bags. o Security requested to rescan All bagged items, which I agreed to, and put them in a separate bin. (Security was very polite and I felt it would not be an issue.) o My backpack came back through, but the bin of my separated bagged items did not follow, after 3 other travelers bins came through. o I made a bad decision that they had put all of my items back into backpack and we rushed to our departure gate to get dinner prior to boarding out flight to FRA. (Should have re-opened backpack to check, but time was running short.) o After eating, we had about 30 minutes before boarding and I wished to charge our smartphones. I discovered that security had not put our items back into the backpack. It was too late to go back to security. I borrowed another passenger plug to charge one phone. We had no way to recover needed items on short notice. o I discovered a replacement power converter on the flight to St. Petersburg, Russia and purchased it. But, all of my other items could not be replaced prior to boarding the ship o World Power converter o Multi-USB Hub (6) o Travel Multi-strip (4 plugs) o High amp Anker backup battery in hard carrying case o Red carry case with:  Lighting cords for iPhone (2)  USB-c cords (2)  Double A/C plug  Reading glasses  Magnifying glass.  USB remote I am assuming that Security discovered that I had left without my items and sent them to JFK Lost and Found. 05/17/2019 JFK Terminal 1 Checkpoint
