I was then called aside for a random security check and made to wait - and when I finally got through I was in such a hurry that I did not realize my ipad had been removed from the tray I had put it in. Since I was in a hurry I did not realize this until I just got home. So I believe that my ipad was left at the security terminal (to enter boarding gates) at terminal 1.
